Abi Denninghoff

Originally from Tucson Arizona, Abi grew up spending most of her time exploring and playing in the Sonoran Desert. From building forts out of saguaro ribs to hiking in the Catalina mountains and swimming in monsoon flooded riverbeds. Her early experiences have shaped her belief that humans are not separate from the natural world, and that our first questions must always be to the landscape.

A deep love of various creative pursuits from drawing, to writing poetry led her to pursue a Bachelors of Architecture at the University of Arizona. Abi soon realized that architecture was not far from the curious play of her childhood and discovered the joy of the design process. During school, she had the opportunity to work for a variety of different architecture firms where she gained experience in both commercial and cultural projects.

After graduating, Abi joined our studio where she continues to bring her enthusiasm and curiosity to the design process.
