Nissan Design America HQ

This 45,000 sf automotive design studio, a collaboration between Luce et Studio and Nissan Design, is a state-of-the-art automotive styling studio, even today, many years later. The design for the creative work environment achieved greater connectivity between the processes of automotive styling and technological design—and succeeded in integrating the architectural sophistication of an office/studio space with the industrial aspects of the Nissan program. The ‘egg’ metal clad translucent courtyard transforms the normally mundane process of ‘model viewing’ into a complete and inspiring spatial experience.
